Castle Hume Court is located within the grounds of Castle Hume and on the very doorstep of the exciting new 5* Lough Erne Resort. The resort is now home to a stunning Lakeland championship course designed by none other that six-time Major Winner Nick Faldo.

The new course is predominately sited on a tract of land called Ely Island that encompasses the waters of Castle Hume Lough to the west and Lower Lough Erne to the east. Water plays an intrinsic role in defining the character of the course and on many holes the tranquil waters of the loughs lap gently at the side of the fairways, tees and greens. However, stunning variations in elevation provide another somewhat surprising feature of the layout and there is simply not a weak hole on the golf course.
“I’ve played Golf on every continent, and I can honestly say that I am overwhelmed by the location and beauty of the Lough Erne project.”

“With Castle Hume Lough on the one side and Lower Lough Erne on the other, this golf course encompasses a natural lakeland that no one could have designed better! A few years ago Loch Lomond set the standard for Scottish Lakeland golf. I am confident that my design at Lough Erne can do the same for Ireland.” - Nick Faldo
